Hi! Welcome to my site. My name is Victoria Sutton, I'm 17 years old, and I live in New York city. I created this foundation alongside my mom, who has always taught me to have empathy and fight for what is right.
My motivation to start this foundation comes from witnessing the struggles many women endure first-hand. As a member of the feminism club at my school, I helped organize a period products drive for women in shelters who often lack those essentials. This experience deepened my passion for women’s rights, specifically in underserved communities such as shelters, and I felt inspired as I listened to powerful stories of resilience and strength from women in my community. I believe everyone deserves a safe space where they can thrive, and I’m committed to making this a reality for those in shelters. More recently, I had the opportunity to work for the Minister Macaé Evaristo, the Minister of Human Rights and Citizenship of Brazil. I attended meetings where I was able to gain valuable insight about how different orginization and non-profit leaders use their influence to fight for equality. Specifically, I had the opportunity to converse with CEOs from organizations dedicated to combating violence against women, where I was able to learn more about the challenges these women face and how to help.
At the heart of this foundation is a mission to help women and children in shelters. Our plan is to provide essential care packages that include hygiene products and other living essentials. Our work not only addresses immediate needs but also aims to empower these individuals to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
If you're inspired to support our cause, I invite you to get involved! You can make a donation, volunteer your time, or help spread the word about our mission. Together, we can provide even more vital resources to those in need.
